[2010-05-29] - so my move is all done and i'm loving the new place; what a
luxury to roll out of bed and be at the office five minutes later. it'll
take a while to accumulate some furniture and get everything unpacked, but i'm
in no hurry. plus i got fios, which totally rocks.
my new band is fun, but we're still auditioning drummers. it's astounding
how many of these people can't keep time but still have the brass to show up for
an audition - if it were me, i wouldn't leave the house until i could at least
keep time! aren't they embarrassed? aren't they the least bit
considerate of wasting others' time? so it's been a bit of a grind in that
sense, but we're bravely soldiering on, and i'm confident that it will
eventually come together, and good times will surely then ensue.
